Lost Boys

In memory of Cory Haim, I am currently watching…The Lost Boys; a classic picture, loved since childhood, and a film that has neither dated nor lost it’s effect in 20 years.

The obvious metaphors for sex, drugs and teenage-angst run through this film, and, although The Lost Boys never really pushed past the themes that other horror flicks were expressing during the 80s , it still captured the collective imagination with it’s cool imagery and slick performances.

And for that, it is a film that every generation must experience.
